MAMTA

MAMTA is commissioned to work directly with minority ethnic women in Coventry in pregnancy and just after baby is born. Every pregnant minority ethnic woman in Coventry offered a referral to MAMTA at booking by a midwife.

MAMTA offers women only 1-1 peer support and education in group settings.

MAMTA is provided by FWT, an award-winning woman only organisation with 36 years’ experience delivering services to all women in Coventry. MAMTA works by removing barriers facing women & offer a culturally sensitive and appropriate place for all women to access healthcare and other services. MAMTA improves access to services and reduces health inequalities.

MAMTA operates from our women only centre in Foleshill but offer the service city wide.

MAMTA Offer:

• 1-1 sessions
• Group sessions – Parent craft every Monday with language support with midwife and FHLS partners
